The Marconias Story
Marconias was born in California. During his teen years, the family moved to Arizona.
It was there that he found his style of guitar and music to play. ...and has been playing ever since. A strumming and picking style came early to him through some classical guitar lessons. But the road to rock... and now contemporary folk, are the latest cravings of this entertainer. (emphasis on entertainer)
He has been a well established performer in the AZ scene, playing every weekend at Arizona State University's area pubs and coffee houses. His wit and story telling make for top value entertainment ... not to mention his polished guitar style and vocals.
You would have been hard pressed to find a good table at most of his shows.
He plays originals and the cover songs he chooses are played in a unique and artistic way. (you'll think he wrote them)
Marconias was the host of a couple of well attended open-mics in the Phoenix area.
Still doing the solo circuit and playing as a guest performer in many bands.
His CD "Restless Souls" was released in 1998 and is still available at his shows. As well as an MP3 download at this site. (more new ones coming)
There is a new love of the mandolin, and its sounds have taken him to playing folk and bluegrass music. Mandolin has been used quite a bit in his recordings lately.
Marconias runs his own home recording studio. Stay in touch for more songs.
"Have PA will travel" ... booking is available if you want to hear his talents.
